Sneak Peek at Our New Master Bedroom

Today was a big day. This morning I was lucky enough to have 3 of my 4 wonderful wisdom teeth removed, and since then I have been lucky enough to lay at home all day... in my bed... in my master bedroom. Yes, that is correct, we finally moved out of our living room efficiency and back into our bedroom. We were super close last night to not moving anything at all, but I knew crashing out in my bedroom rather than my living room would make today's recovery a much more pleasant experience. And on that note we sucked it up and moved!

As promised to all of you who have been requesting, today I have a sneak peek of our master bedroom. I wanted to wait to post all the finished rooms until after  they were all finished, but I have no idea when that will be. There are still several final details to work on, like doors, blinds, closet lights, and crown molding, and there is still new furniture to be purchased, so today you only get the bare bones before and after pictures.

And now for the drum roll please...

Our New Master Bedroom!

Ahhhh, the white trimmings, new baseboards, fresh paint, and sealed concrete floors have turned this world upside down. I cannot wait to see what it looks like with new furniture, updated doors, and all the rest. I might even get a little crazy and add some additional organizational solutions to my closet. It's been a while since I've been in The Container Store anyway.

So I'm glad I was finally able to share an update with you all. And of course I will continue to update as we tackle more projects. If you missed any of the initial posts, you can read about our kick-off weekend here or our hideous brown painted house here.

  1. Concrete floors are AWESOME. We did the entire house that way when we moved in six years ago. Love the blue on the walls. Remodeling your house yourselves is such an amazingly rewarding experience. :)
