Welcome, 2015. I’m digging you already. And I’m more than happy to look back at 2014 and forward to this year. This will be my third annual recap, and though last year was a big jumble (a good one), I’m not giving up on holding myself accountable and continuing to set some annual goals. Except I’m skipping my top 5 favorite recipes (I really did cook) and my top 5 most popular blog posts BECAUSE I haven’t been blogging about much, whoops. Here goes nothing.

Wood Texas Art Piece #2
My favorite art piece ever is the reclaimed Texas piece I created last summer using only scraps from our house remodel. It was mixed media heaven for me - wood scraps, paint, drawing, imagination, power tools, etc. And ever since I made that piece (of course to keep for our own house), I've been itching to make more. Well, this past year has been a whirlwind, but #benefitnate was the perfect excuse to amp up again. Low and behold my most recent baby - Texas art piece #2.
Bonnie's Ice Cream Birthday Party
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
Our niece turned three this summer, and we celebrated with an ice cream pool party. It happened to be very convenient that Kitsy Co had the perfect invitation template to set the tone.

Holly Jolly Kitsy Co
The temperatures are dropping here in Texas (despite the fact that I gush for warm weather), and the Christmas holiday is officially knocking at our door - Kitsy Co's first ever holiday season. How might I have prepared? How about by delving into a delectable selection of printable holiday cards and invitations.

Life Lately
Oh goodness, these past few weeks have been absolutely wacko - too much going on at work and too much going on outside of work - hence the reason I'm blogging in my bed at midnight from my iPhone (forgive any errors). I had (have) some fresh posts in the pipeline for the blog, including my 7-day detox water, a not-so-out-of-the-ordinary impulse Ross shopping trip, and my first visit to Canton, but I just couldn't quite get to them before vacation (yehaw, only one more day)! Soooo, instead, here's my life lately.

Kitsy Co: Etsy Shop Update
Hello my favorite readers! I thought I'd share an update on my Etsy shop.
Since my official opening blog post, I accomplished my first sale, I've had one custom order, my design aesthetic is taking form and my husband has voluntarily taken the role of business developer :) Mostly though, I've been investing my spare time into developing more inventory. If I were counting inventory based on my sketch book (my handy idea trapper keeper), I would have 100 new pieces to showcase. But let's be honest, I've since finished 8 new invitations and 3 new sets of art.

My Etsy Shop is Open!
I try my best to post more than once a week, and sadly it's been over a week, but with maintaining a full-time job, blog site and recently opening my Etsy shop, I've been swamped, to say the least. And speaking of my Etsy shop, the purpose of this post, I'm proud to say that Kitsy Co is launched and live - www.kitsyco.com!
New Etsy Venture - Kitsy Co
I am excited to announce my latest, most time-consuming project, my Etsy shop, Kitsy Co!
It's not launched yet, but I've been working away to get there. I'll be selling an "eclectic dose of invites and art." More info coming soon.
For now, the goal has been to finalize my logo, build inventory and establish my online presence. You can find me on all social media outlets, but my current focus is Instagram (@kitsyco) and Facebook (Kitsy Co).
